FT352 15,000kg Multimode Geotechnical Winch
The Feritech FT352 multimode winch has both lifting and constant tension (CT) modes. The system can be swapped over by the press of a button.
This winch is designed for geotechnical work but as it has a hollow shaft, it can be installed with slip rings and used for geophysical projects as well.
This medium speed geotechnical winch achieves line speeds in excess of 60m/min. It is precisely controlled and electrically driven.
The FT352 is also suitable for deployment of geophysical and oceanographic systems such as side scan sonar, sub bottom profilers or ocean water samplers.
It can be used in constant tension (CT) mode or as a conventional hoist winch. Control of the winch can be local or remote to suit various vessel layouts and deck plans.
The Multimode Winch has been designed in accordance to DNV GL standards and with safety, reliability and ease of operation our primary concerns.
